Manual of the Planes
Beyond the mortal world lies a wider cosmology of planes, each with its own nature, inhabitants, and place within creation. Some exist alongside Eldareth, others form the elemental or spiritual foundations of the multiverse, while still stranger realms lie beyond the conventional planar order.
This section provides an overview of those realms, the paths that connect them, and the wider structure of the multiverse beyond the Prime Material Plane.

The Material Plane
The Material Plane is the physical universe in which Eldareth exists, encompassing the stars, planets, galaxies, and vast reaches of space beyond the world itself. Eldareth is one world within this greater cosmos and the principal focus of most surviving...
The Echo Planes
The term Echo Plane refers to a plane that exists alongside the Prime Material Plane and broadly reflects its geography. Eldareth's known cosmology includes two such realms: the Feywild and the Shadowfell. Both remain recognizable reflections of the mortal world,...
The Inner Planes
The Inner Planes are the elemental foundations of the multiverse, comprising the four great realms of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. In each, one element exists in its purest and most dominant form: open sky in Air, vast stone depths...
The Transitive Planes
The Transitive Planes are the primary pathways through which planar travel occurs within a Reality Sphere. Eldareth's cosmology recognizes two: the Ethereal Plane and the Astral Plane. The Ethereal Plane overlaps with the Prime Material Plane and its Echo Planes...
The Outer Planes
The Outer Planes are realms shaped by powerful ideals and principles, reflecting the forces of Law, Chaos, Good, and Evil found throughout the multiverse. At their center lies the Outlands, a plane of balance connected to the eight surrounding realms....
The Energy Planes
Often called the Empty Planes, the Energy Planes stand apart from both the Inner and Outer Planes. They consist almost entirely of raw cosmic energy rather than stable matter. The Positive Energy Plane is saturated with vitalizing radiance, while the Negative...
The Fringe Realms
Beyond the conventional planar categories are realms that do not fit comfortably within the established structure of Eldareth's cosmology. The best known are Val'Syra, the Dreamlands, and the Far Realm, a vast region of distorted reality along the outer fringes...
Realms beyond Realms
Beyond Eldareth's Reality Sphere lies a wider multiverse of separate universes, each containing its own physical cosmos and planar structure. These Reality Spheres are divided by Driftspace, an unstable expanse crossed only through forms of travel far beyond ordinary spacefaring...
