The Echo Planes
The term Echo Plane refers to a plane that exists alongside the Prime Material Plane and broadly reflects its geography. Eldareth's known cosmology includes two such realms: the Feywild and the Shadowfell.
Both remain recognizable reflections of the mortal world, but each expresses different aspects of it. The Feywild heightens life, magic, and emotion, while the Shadowfell is shaped by shadow, absence, enduring impressions, and the passage of souls.
Neither reproduces the Material Plane exactly. Geography, distance, magic, and the character of individual locations can differ greatly between a place in Eldareth and its planar echo.
