The Fringe Realms
Beyond the conventional planar categories are realms that do not fit comfortably within the established structure of Eldareth's cosmology. The best known are Val'Syra, the Realm of Dreams, and the Far Realm, a vast region of distorted reality along the outer fringes of Eldareth's Reality Sphere.
Planar scholars sometimes refer to such places as the Disjoined Realms because their nature and relationships differ from those of the Material, Elemental, Energy, Transitive, and Outer Planes. They do not share a single origin, location, or means of access, and each follows its own unusual conditions.
Among travelers and adventurers, these anomalous places are more commonly known as the Fringe Realms.
