The Dragon Ascendants
The Dragon Ascendants were once mortal dragons who fought against the Primordial Titans during the Dawn War. Ancient accounts hold that they were among the few upon whom portions of the defeated Titans' immense power were bestowed, raising them beyond their mortal origins and into demigodhood.
Their ascension became closely tied to the sacrifices they made in defense of Eldareth. In later ages, the Ascendants also played a central role in the creation of the Dragonborn, giving them a lasting place in draconic and Dragonborn history.
Their worship is strongest in the Aldramar Isles, where their names and teachings remain deeply rooted in Dragonborn history and culture.
The Ascendants are represented by five dragon claws arranged around a shared center. Each claw represents one of the five Ascendants, while their placement together reflects the common history that binds them.
The open center represents the primordial power bestowed upon them during the Dawn War and, in later traditions, the Dragonborn they would eventually help create.
