Eldritch Invocations
Through the study of occult lore and the terms of your pact, you uncover Eldritch Invocations, secrets and techniques that shape your patron’s power into lasting supernatural abilities.
The Invocations below are organized by the earliest Warlock level at which they can be selected, then alphabetically.
If an Invocation has a Warlock-level prerequisite, you must have reached that level in the Warlock class to learn it.
Some Invocations are marked as Repeatable. You can learn a Repeatable Invocation more than once, but you must choose a different eligible option each time unless the Invocation states otherwise.

Fiendish Vigor
You can cast False Life on yourself at level 1 at will without expending a spell slot or requiring Material components.
When you cast the spell using this Invocation, you don’t roll for the Temporary Hit Points. Instead, each die used to determine those Temporary Hit Points is treated as having rolled its maximum value.

To gain the benefits of a Long Rest, you can spend all 8 hours performing light activity, such as reading your Book of Shadows, studying, or keeping watch.
Book of Ancient Secrets
Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
Your Book of Shadows can hold additional ritual magic.
Choose two level 1 spells with the Ritual tag from any class’s spell list. The spells appear in your Book of Shadows and don’t count against the number of spells you know.
While the book is on your person, you can cast those spells as Rituals. You can’t cast them normally unless you know or prepare them through another feature.
You can also cast a Warlock spell you know as a Ritual if that spell has the Ritual tag.
During your adventures, you can add other spells with the Ritual tag to your Book of Shadows.
When you find an eligible spell, you can copy it into the book if its level is no greater than half your Warlock level, rounded up.
For each level of the spell, copying it requires 2 hours and 50 GP in rare inks and other materials.
Gift of the Ever-Living Ones
Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
Whenever you regain Hit Points while your familiar is within 100 feet of you, treat any dice rolled to determine the Hit Points you regain as having rolled their maximum possible value.
Improved Pact Weapon
Prerequisite: Pact of the Blade feature
You can use your pact weapon as a Spellcasting Focus for your Warlock spells.
Your pact weapon gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls unless it is a magic weapon that already grants a numerical bonus to those rolls.
In addition, when you conjure a pact weapon, you can choose a Shortbow, Longbow, Light Crossbow, or Heavy Crossbow in addition to the weapon forms normally allowed by Pact of the Blade.
Pact Warrior
Prerequisite: Pact of the Blade feature
Your pact grants you additional martial training.
You gain training with Medium armor and Shields.
Rebuke of the Talisman
Prerequisite: Pact of the Talisman feature
When the wearer of your talisman is hit by an attacker you can see within 30 feet of yourself, you can take a Reaction to rebuke the attacker.
The attacker takes Psychic damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you can push it up to 10 feet directly away from the talisman’s wearer.
Voice of the Chain Master
Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
You can communicate telepathically with your familiar while you are on the same plane of existence.
While on the same plane, you can also perceive through your familiar’s senses regardless of the distance between you.
While perceiving through the familiar’s senses, you can speak through the familiar in your own voice, even if the familiar is normally incapable of speech.

Eldritch Smite
Prerequisite: Pact of the Blade feature
Once per turn when you hit a creature with your pact weapon, you can expend one Pact Magic spell slot to deal additional Force damage to the target.

Far Scribe
Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
A special page appears in your Book of Shadows.
With your permission, a creature can take an action to write its name on that page.
The page can contain a number of names equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
While the book is on your person, you can cast Sending without expending a spell slot or requiring Material components, but you can target only a creature whose name appears on the page.
To cast the spell in this way, you write the message on the page. The target hears the message in its mind. If the target replies, its response appears on the page rather than being heard in your mind.
The written message and reply disappear after 1 minute.
You can erase a name from the page by touching it as a Magic action.
Gaze of Two Minds
As a Bonus Action, you can touch one willing creature and create a sensory connection with it until the end of your next turn.
While the creature is on the same plane of existence as you, you can perceive through its senses and benefit from any special senses it possesses.
You remain aware of your own surroundings while using this feature.
You can take a Bonus Action on subsequent turns to extend the connection until the end of your next turn.
While the connection is active and the creature is within 60 feet of you, when you cast a spell, you can have the spell originate from your space or the connected creature’s space.
Gift of the Depths

You can also cast Water Breathing once without expending a spell slot.
You regain the ability to cast it in this way when you finish a Long Rest.

Empowered Movement

When the familiar deals Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage with an attack, you can cause that damage to become Necrotic or Radiant instead.

Within that range, you have Darkvision if you don’t already have it, and solid objects appear as ghostly, transparent images.
This special sight lasts for 1 minute and requires Concentration as though you were concentrating on a spell.
Once you use this Invocation, you can’t use it again until you finish a Short or Long Rest.
Protection of the Talisman
Prerequisite: Pact of the Talisman feature
Your talisman provides greater protection against effects that would overwhelm its wearer.
When the wearer fails a saving throw and uses your Pact of the Talisman to alter that roll, the wearer rolls 2d4 instead of 1d4 and adds the total to the saving throw, potentially turning the failure into a success.
Doing so expends only one use of Pact of the Talisman.
Relentless Hex

Your curse creates a supernatural bond between you and your target.
As a Bonus Action, you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see within 5 feet of a creature affected by your Hex spell or by one of your Warlock features that curses.

The wearer can likewise take a Magic action to teleport to the nearest unoccupied space within 5 feet of you, provided you are both on the same plane of existence.
This teleportation can be used a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
These uses are shared between you and the wearer.
You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Devouring Blade
Prerequisite: Thirsting Blade Invocation
When you take the Attack action and attack with your pact weapon, you can attack three times instead of once.
Gift of Twin Pacts
Choose one Pact Boon that you don’t already possess:
-
Pact of the Blade
-
Pact of the Chain
-
Pact of the Talisman
-
Pact of the Tome
You gain all the benefits of the chosen Pact Boon.
You are considered to possess both Pact Boons for the purpose of meeting Invocation prerequisites.
Any normal limitations of a Pact Boon still apply. For example, having multiple Pact Boons doesn’t allow you to have more than one pact weapon through Pact of the Blade.
If you use Eldritch Versatility to replace a Pact Boon, choose whether you are replacing your original Pact Boon or the one granted by this Invocation. You can’t replace both at the same time.
If you later replace Gift of Twin Pacts with another Invocation, you immediately lose the Pact Boon granted by Gift of Twin Pacts.
If losing that Pact Boon causes you to no longer meet the prerequisite of another Invocation you know, you must replace that Invocation at the same time with one for which you qualify.
Warlock Level 15
