Ostheria

At the southern edge of Ethelra lies Ostheria, a kingdom whose government and culture are closely tied to the worship of Myranthus, the Dawnsinger. From the holy city of Sanctivara, the Cathedra Magna and the Order of the Radiant Flame hold considerable influence over the nation’s religious and military affairs.

Ostheria sees itself as a guardian of the principles once set down in the Dawnsinger’s Concord. Its paladins and priests lead campaigns against threats they consider corrupt or heretical, and relations with neighboring Vashkova are especially hostile.

Beyond Sanctivara, Ostheria includes farmland, fortified settlements, and ports such as Ishkaris, where ships depart for trade, exploration, and religious missions abroad.

Faith plays a central role in Ostherian life. For many within the kingdom, serving Myranthus and carrying his teachings beyond their borders are responsibilities that extend far beyond the temple.
