Shen-Su: The Jade Kingdoms

Shen-Su is the great eastern continent of Eldareth. The Kharzai Steppes stretch across much of its west, while high mountain country separates them from the older realms farther east. Beyond those ranges, the land eventually gives way to long coasts and island chains scattered across the eastern seas.

The Seven Jade Kingdoms developed in this eastern half of the continent. Their histories have crossed for thousands of years, sometimes through cooperation and sometimes through conflict, but none grew as an extension of another. Distance, geography, and changing dynasties gave each a character of its own.

One of the oldest traditions shared between them reaches back to the destruction of Noryeong. In the generations that followed, Zhàohuáng and Wei'Shen sent the Seven Dragons to guide the peoples of the east, and their teachings became part of the histories of the kingdoms that later emerged.

Shen-Su has changed considerably since then. Old traditions have survived by changing with the societies that inherited them, and even customs with a common origin can mean something very different from one realm to the next.
