IV. The Reckoning Years

The fracture of the Mythal during the Upheaval left Eldareth changed. Ley lines surged, ruptured, and shifted from their established courses, planar boundaries weakened, and the systems that had supported the Age of Wonders became unstable. In the years that followed, the world was forced to confront consequences it did not yet understand.

The Reckoning Years were not a true Age, but a name later given to the generations of crisis that followed. Kingdoms struggled to recover, old threats returned in new forms, and forces beyond Eldareth began to take greater notice of the weakened world.

What began with the Upheaval did not end when the destruction stopped. Its effects continued to shape Eldareth for generations.
