Avermont: The Western Reach

Avermont, known more anciently as Shahoya, is the great northern landmass of the western world. Long before the Western Exodus brought settlers from Ethelra, Shahoya was already home to Tavaska, Rakkari, Dawncoil, and other peoples whose settlements, trade routes, territories, and histories stretched across the continent.

The newcomers who would form the Concord arrived after the devastation of the Incursion, establishing their strongest early settlements along the eastern coast. Over the generations that followed, those communities grew into a new political society of their own, while expanding into lands whose older inhabitants already possessed their own laws, alliances, economies, and claims.

In 741 U.R., Avermont is a continent where those histories increasingly overlap. Concord cities and roads continue to grow, Tavaska and Rakkari communities remain established across much of Shahoya, Dawncoil settlements have existed in the south for centuries, and large parts of the interior remain beyond direct Concord rule.
