The Echo Planes

The term Echo Plane refers to planar dimensions that exist in metaphysical resonance with the Prime Material Plane. In the known cosmology of Eldareth, there are two such reflections: the Feywild and the Shadowfell.

Though each retains a broadly parallel geography to the Prime, their composition, flow of time, and interaction with magic differ profoundly. The Feywild embodies intensified emotion and untamed arcana, while the Shadowfell channels entropy, stillness, and spiritual decay. These planes are not mere copies, but distorted echoes — reflections shaped by ancient forces and divergent fundamental laws.
